Art has been a passion for me all my life. I come from a creative family that encouraged lateral thinking, observation, and having fun making things.

Most of my childhood years were spent in upstate New York and therefore I have had a ‘liberal arts’ American education. I went to university in Switzerland and Boston, USA and graduated with a BA degree in Political Science and French.

While at school, university and pursuing a career in marketing, I took art classes including life drawing, sculpture, painting, drawing, graphic design, art history and carpentry.

I eventually decided to give in whole heartedly to my passion and become a full time artist.

Two other interests that are important to me are dancing and sailing and these are evident in much of my work.
